AITA/IATA in Argentina
AITA/IATA General Assembly is composed by the representatives of all the Member-countries, the Executive Board and the Council of the ONG. The World Congress takes place once in two years. In 1999, it was developed since July 16th until July 23rd at the city of El Jadida, in Morocco. Guillermo Rodoni was there, for asking that Argentina was accepted as a new Member of AITA / IATA. The motion was accepted. So, our country has finally got into the ONG, after almost fifty years (it has been founded in 1952), in which this Organization had been completely unknown in Argentina.
The next World Congress took place in Monaco, in July 2001. As one of the results of that General Assembly, taking in account the hard work that had been made along those two years by La Comedia de Campana (the Argentinean National Center of AITA / IATA), our country was recognized as a "FULL-MEMBER" of AITA/IATA.
In the 26th General Assembly in Halifax (NS), Canada, in July 2003, Guillermo Rodoni became a Council Member of the World NGO.
